Credit Suisse Switzerland is major investment and private bank in Switzerland, part of Credit Suisse Group, the global financial services company. Switzerland is the domestic regional market of the Credit Suisse Group with other operations in Europe, Middle East and Africa, Asia Pacific and  Americas.

It was founded in 1856 and within Switzerland it operates under the bank licenses and regulation of FINMA, the bank supervisory authority. Its primary listing is on the SIX Swiss Exchange as well as on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in the form of American Depositary Shares (ADS). 

Credit Suisse Switzerland banking services include private banking, investment banking and asset management services to Swiss individuals businesses, institutions and corporations. Within its private banking it also offers wealth management to its Swiss client base including high-net-worth individuals and families globally and domestically.

Within Switzerland it provides 200 bank branches (As at 2010 Annual Report) in the French, German and Italian-speaking areas including some branches that offer affluent capabilities.

Credit Suisse offers bank deposit and savings products including but not limited to Swiss savings accounts, fiduciary deposits, interest-bearing demand deposits, savings deposits, time deposits and certificate of deposit.
